One · The way in

The invitation points here.

Each guest enters the code from their save the date or invitation. No account, no password. EventRide can design both, or carry the couple’s own.

Two · The reply

Who is coming, name by name.

Each person on the invitation is marked as coming or not, and how the couple can reach the household.

Three · The journey

How they arrive.

Flying, by train or driving; which airport or station; which day and roughly when. A return journey if they like.

Four · Travelling together

Guests going the same way.

Guests arriving through the same airport, station or port within a similar window appear to each other. Guests driving themselves on the same day and staying in the same area can also appear to each other. Both sides choose, a decline is never revealed, and when both agree they arrange the journey between themselves and share the cost.

Five · The stay

Where they’re staying.

The place, the area, or simply not booked yet. Where guests stay sets the order of who they see first: the same address, then the same area.

Six · Afterwards

One album, kept by the couple.

Opened when the celebrations begin. Every guest adds their photographs; the couple keeps them. No likes, no comments, no tagging.

What a match shows

First names, party size, how the other household is travelling and its onward plan from the airport, the arrival overlap as a band, and the area it is staying in where that is the same as yours. No surname, no exact time, no property name, no contact detail.

What it never does

EventRide never books, sells or arranges travel or accommodation, and takes no payment from guests. It shows an overlap and steps back. Matching is opt in, full names, contact details, exact arrival times and where each is staying appear only when both households agree, and journey details are deleted within thirty days of the wedding.
